Wines to be tasted!

MARCO DONATI Moscato Giallo 2013
Alto Adige, Italy $19.99
100% yellow moscato. Golden like the grapes from which it is grown, the Moscato Giallo Vigneti of the Dolomites IGT Golden of Marco Donati is an aromatic white that already expresses the fruity and floral notes typical of the vine, a prelude to a soft taste and great character. Pair with cheeses, smoked meats and white meats.

LA MESMA Gavi di Gavi 2017
Piedmont, Italy $19.99
Gavi is a white Piedmontese specialty wine made exclusively of the Cortese grape variety. This is unoaked, redolent of apricots, citrus, and white flowers. This Gavi does not go through malolactic fermentation and therefore has an especially vibrant acidity that will work well at the table with calamari or roast chicken. The La Mesma vineyard is a small operation of 26 hectre run by the Rosina sister's, Paola, Francesca, and Anna. Their philosophy is to let the grapes and the land speak for themselves, with minimal intervention in the growing process, as well as delicate, and precise hand farming methods.

VILA REAL Douro Reserva 2013
Douro, Portugal $12.99
New wood and vanilla show strongly over the red-berry fruits. This wine has attractive tannins and acidity, balanced to give a fruity while structured character. Produced by the cooperative of Vila Real, the wine is ready from late 2017.

DIAZ BAYO Ribera del Duero 2016
Ribera del Duero, Spain $16.99
Tempranillo from a 30-year-old clay and limestone parcel at 840 meters elevation. Aged for six months in used French oak and six months in bottle prior to release, bright red fruit is backed by ample palate richness, finishing mineral and long. Reminiscent of the wines that originally drove the Ribera del Duero phenomenon!
