CATENA Chardonnay 2015
Mendoza, Argentina $19.99
A blend of three vineyards, one small plot from Agrelo (less than 10% of the volume, as it's no more than four hectares), another one from Villa Bastías from the Tupungato department and a third one in Gualtallary, also in Tupungato in the Valle de Uco. Vinified, aged separately and blended before bottling, 15% of the volume goes through malolactic in oak barrels where it also matured for one year while the rest was kept in stainless steel. It has a mixture of yellow fruit and subtle oak keeping a core of white fruit and flowers.

CATENA Lunlunta Malbec 2014
Mendoza, Argentina $22.49
The nose offers concentrated aromas of ripe red and dark fruits with traces of vanilla and mocha. The mouthfeel is rich and concentrated, with blueberries and blackberries notes and a touch of leather and cinnamon. The finish presents well integrated supple tannins with a flinty minerality that gives the wine exceptional length.

CATENA ‘High Mountain’ Malbec 2014
California, $19.99
This microclimate blend of four unique vineyards offers intense aromas, a soft texture, and concentrated flavor. Deep aromas of ripe red and dark fruits are joined by delicate violet and lavender notes, with traces of vanilla and mocha. A rich, concentrated mouthfeel is highlighted by flavors of blueberries and blackberries with a touch of sweet spice, and leather. The wine finishes with bright acidity, well-integrated and silky tannins, and a flinty minerality that lingers on the palate.

CATENA Paraje Altamira Malbec 2014
Mendoza, Argentina $24.99
Sappy, smoky nose combines redcurrant, flinty minerals, musky underbrush and spices. Less sweet than the Appellation La Consulta bottling but broader, showing less red than black fruit character along with a complicating hint of mushroom. This wine started off a bit underwhelming but exploded with aeration, showing building sweetness and finishing with suave, ripe tannins and excellent length.
